Go back to the 50s in this authentic diner. I think it's worth waiting for a table in the actual diner instead of the backroom addition. Food is basic, safe, predictable diner fare, although some of the dinner specials are surprisingly good.

We've had lunch here a couple of times and found it to be very good. It's just what they advertise a diner. The food is always very good and the service is fast and friendly.

My lunch order was messed up TWICE and the waitress did not tell us that there would be an upcharge for substituting items (cole slaw instead of fries). Very annoyed that by the time it took to finally get the right order everyone else at the table had already finished. No compensation, either. Left disappointed and aggravated, won't be back....

Great service....fast turnaround. Food comes as expected and ordered. Coffee is hot and smooth! Waitstaff are very accomodating. Route 66 is a personal favorite on the menu!
