Recommendations were given by the cashier, which were pretty tasty. The chicken gyro was nicely seasoned, messy but that’s to be expected. Service was prompt, food was fresh, and enjoyable. The staff was pleasant and friendly as well.

Granted it's a pretty short list, but Zorba's is on the must-eat-at list for Champaign-Urbana. Some of the best gyros I've ever had (and the fries too!). Friendly staff, and a great local neighborhood establishment.

As a long time staple on the University of Illinois campus, this eatery is not to be missed when visiting Champaign-Urbana! Best gyros in the area, hands-down! The best planned trip here is honestly not around noon Monday-Friday. Visit when campus is on break or at an off hour....or prepare to wait (it is, however, worth the wait!).

A long time staple of green street

There almost isn't a time I don't pay Zorba's a visit when I'm back at the U of I. My favorite plate always includes the chicken gyro with bbq sauce. I can't remember hearing a complaint about this place. It's fast food made to order, but even when it's busy it won't take more than 8-10 minutes to be ready....

I've been there with some friends of mine, and basically we wanted to have a quick lunch. I took a chicken sandwich, which was ok, but the meat didn't look like tasty. The place is not the best spot in terms of comfort, so I consider it more a fast-food than a restaurant. However, I don't have serious complaints, and...
