Very good Mexican. As many of the reviews mentioned, The guacamole is excellent - lots of flavor and the chips were warm when they came out. The food was very flavorful, creative, and beautifully presented. Great ambience and helpful staff. For dessert we went traditional and had the churros - Delish!

I can't believe this place closed down. This was one of a handful of quality Mexican places in New York and it was so reasonably priced too.

Pio Maya offers you delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. This no-frills eatery may not have a great decor, but the food is well worth the visit. Fresh dishes at very modest prices are what their menu is all about. Try the double tortilla tacos, masa cakes, spicy tamales or the juicy roast chicken.
