Nice place for nature lovers, a nice picnic area too. I think this arboretum is always a lovely even in winter, spring and summer.
I came in the winter for dog sled rides. What fun! And a beautiful area. I could just imagine what it might look like in spring, summer and fall. Ideal for hiking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Lots of sculptures dispersed throughout, also.
I visited the arboretum with friends on a beautiful September morning. We were lucky enough to visit on a day when a group of sculptors were creating in the field. Several of them were nice enough to stop their work and answer our questions. After visiting with the sculptors, we hiked the outer trail of the park.

If yo love nature this is the place to go beautiful flowers, fresh raspberries ready to pick along with black berries a nice picnic area lots of history and very well kept
Easy walk around trees, plants, water, bridge and sculptures. Quite a variety of settings in the park. A little buggy once you get into the woods. Info station was not open on Sunday. Great place to take kids.
