My daughter started riding at Pine tree when she was about 7 or 8 and stayed on through high school. It is a very special, low-key and nurturing place. Sue, the owner, is a special person--gets to know each child and their strengths. Also the kids learn a lot more that just knowing how to ride-caring for the animals, tacking up, and repect.

She is an extremely talented rider...I've seen her get on a horse...that had been there for years and no one could seem to figure out no matter what measure they tried...and had the horse moving like a 'normal' horse within ten minutes...she has a very gentle approach to her horses.
The place may not be the newest...
