Pimentos is in downtown Exeter along the Exeter River. It's a rickety old place with great food and service in the dining room. Get a seat facing the sidewalk - great for people watching. Nice menu with some great fish options and daily specials. Never crowed always good and reasonably priced - cant beat it in downtown Exeter!

Convenient to our Inn

It was a few short steps from our inn. The service was very friendly and attentive. They presented to food very nicely but it could have been better. The lobster was overcooked and not much of it in my angel hair with lobster and shrimp. Others in our party felt the same way. The upstairs was empty and we thought...

Nice wrinkle in menu

I like some of the inventive wrinkles in the menu. When they have fresh oysters - I get a dozen. The chef occasionally features smelt - one of my favs. Recently had braised rib appetizer with a birch beer reduction that was outstanding. Others have mentioned their Cobb salad which is really satisfying.

Lovely Restaurant in the Center of Town

Had dinner here and enjoyed it very much. Sat at the window table and watched the town celebrate the holidays from our seat! The food was very good an the service was too.
Would love to try the downstairs pub when next in town.

We were visiting Exeter and found this restaurant by chance. Our group of 5 settled in and while deciding on our meals, our server brought us yummy complimentary seasoned potato wedges. We tried the special of the evening-Prime Rib. It was tasty and juicy. Others got the Pi 'Cod' A(Piccada) entrée that was really, really awesome. The Sous chef surprised...
