We went with 5 couples. We had great food and a fun time. You always get plenty of food and it is just good home cooking. They are usually busy so if you do not have a reservation you can expect to wait.

Fun atmosphere next to the flight line for a good meal

My wife calls it a "neat place to eat". I call it a good place to come for very good food, good service, fun to watch the planes, and a community support facility.
Pilot Pete's is next to the flight line of the Schaumburg Regional Airport. It opened 18 years ago and has been a supporter of many community projects...

Large portions

Stopped here for dinner after flying in. That is the biggest plus for it, being able to fly in and eat. The portions were very big. The taste was pretty good but the service and wait time for food was pretty long. I think we may have gotten there right after a rush time and that may have caused it.

The restaurant is on the Schaumburg Airport so that is fun. They have a nice sized menu and the food has been consistently good.
