My parents passed away and their home was vacant. The insurance company said they would not renew the policy, as it was not occupied. Pilat Insurance came to our rescue, providing both fire and liability coverage where others would not. I since have placed all my business with Pilat Insurance.
Recently my parents house has become vacant and because of that Pilat dropped us. We are there every day fixing it to sell so it is no more vacant than someone who goes on vacation.
