Love the Pig Stand on Broadway!!! Their doubled cheese burger combo is a lot of food and very good. The prices are great for the amount of food on the plate. I have been making return visits for decades. There is history on the walls and in the atmoshpere of this restaurant institution of San Antonio.

I took an out-of-town friend to Pig Stands one morning for breakfast, he ordered the entire meal again he was so impressed. Can't say I like it THAT much, but it hasn't changed a bit in 15 or so years I've been visiting, and that's saying something. Kind of like Denny's and IHOP combined, in a unique San Antonio kind...

Unfortunately there is only one Pigs Stand left in San Antonio,its located on Broadway St. close to downtown. The Pig Stand serves everything from seafood to steaks. although all menu items are good we go there for the fried fish, its crispy,tasty and comes with french fries,buttered toast and a side salad.
