Pierre Loti's Chelsea location is outfitted much like its Irving Place sister spot, with a vaguely Turkish vibe and quaint outdoor seating in front. The long space has minimal decoration, with the exception of two star-shaped mirrors adorning the walls, and one long cushion with tables lined in front. The menu is studded with wine-friendly bites and cheeses, but there are also eclectic options...
Cute little place. Not too crowded, but service was extremely slow. We had to flag the server down each time, and no one even came by to check on us for the first 40-ish minutes since we sat down...
I so badly want this to be my neighborhood gem...but it's not! Some how there are like 15 people working here at any given time and yet the service is insanely slow. There are like 4 of them...
I love this wine bar. They have multiple locations throughout the city but the spot in Chelsea is my favorite. The staff is friendly and attentive and they have so many great wine selections.....
Honestly...waited AN HOUR for a cheese and charcuterie plate. As the waitresses chatted away, go sheared, and rolled homemade cigarettes right behind the bar. What in the world
