I used to go to PetsWest a lot, BUT the training is rough, mean, and cruel to the dogs. For example, they believe that putting a prong collar on a dog and then lifting it up in the air by the neck (cutting off the dogs air way) is a proper training method. I have been frequenting Pets West for classes, supplies and food for almost 4 years. These people are great and very knowlegable. You can't please everyone and some people are just bent on finding fault, that's what I feel about the complainers. Laura is great in the show classes, as well as the other teachers. She is nationally known and respected and has NEVER been rude to anyone that I saw...

The owner is rude. His wife who teaches the conformation classes is the worst. They lack any customer service skills! I took my dog handler there to become better informed. The teacher, if you can call her that, enjoyed humiliating students. After watching for 30 minutes, I chose to pull my handler from the class and leave.
