Pete's Towing strikes again. Yesterday I was parked behind a restaurant in Ybor City having lunch only to watch my car go by courtesy of Pete's Towing. I called them and explained that the car was taken by mistake. Pete asked to talk to the owner and he would not assess any charges. I had the restaurant owner and the building manager call. In the short time (5 min) between calls Pete story suddenly changed. Even though both the restaurant owner and building manager explained it was a mistake to tow, Pete nailed me for $140. This is the WORST towing company ever. Stay clear of them . They change their prices , they write a different price on YOUR receipt vs theres and they are EXTREMELY rude ...I wish I did not have to give them any stars to post this ..

I'm sure this is another scam by this unscrupulous company. Pete's Towing towed MY car from MY assigned parking spot just steps from the front door of front of MY condo unit. The only reason I didn't suspect it was stolen is because it's an economy that was parked next to a much nicer luxury car. I called Pete's Towing because they have a sign on our front entrance and sure enough they had my car. When I inquired why it was towed, I was told it was because my tag had expired! The had made a random sweep of the parking lot and towed cars that had expired tags. My tag expired last month and...
