I am so glad the prior review did not deter me from using the grooming services. Not only were the staff very friendly, but they listened to the particulars about my dogs and made them look wonderful! My dogs seemed happy and they were ready when promised.

Convenient, but commercialized

I prefer to go to smaller pet stores because the staff seems more knowledgeable of their animals, but this Petco location does have well-trained staff. The shelves are usually well-stocked and the store is clean, even though there are LOTS of dogs that come in the store! Most recently they put in kid-sized carts, which is a really cute way to keep the kids entertained. Open until about 8pm.

Took my dog here for grooming. They charged a ridiculous amount and did not even do it properly. One time I was charged $25 for bathing and clipping and 2 months later they charged $45. I then took my dog elsewhere because I felt ripped off and was told that the grooming they had been doing was causing matting close to the skin and my dog's skin could not breath.
