I recently visited this store in search of a pair of female rats. Pet Works may be experts with birds, but certainly are not with small animals.

I was helped right away by a very friendly lady who pointed me to the small animal area. Immediatly it was clear the males and females were housed together. Anyone who has even the most limited knowledge about rodents should know this is a huge problem. Had I purchased my pair here, I almost certainly would have ended up with 2 litters.

A good pet store would put in the effort to know how to safely house their animals. I will not be returning.

I recently bought (Bell) my umbrella cockatoo from Pet Works. I have been visiting her almost daily.Sheila and her expert staff have made this very special experience one that I will never forget. They are courteous,knowledgeable and caring. I feel welcome everytime I visit. My family is having a baby birdy shower for Bells welcome home. I have registered my birdy wish list with Pet Works. The only place I trust !!

This is a decent place to get pet schwag - prices are comparable to a lot of other places (with the exception of matching the prices to those big name places that get their items in bulks of a million...
