Went to see this in July 2014 - I thoroughly enjoyed the tour as there are lots of interesting facts and artworks inside, but the majority is corridors. By all means go see it but if you don't like walking through corridors a lot then don't!
I'll keep this short. Unless you like hallways, don't bother! Yes, it was nice to see the memorial grounds. Yes, it was also kinda cool to see the decorated military guides walk backwards while talking the entire time but those were the only things that made the trip here worth it. I wasn't expecting to see a drone bomb targets...
This tour would not be interesting for little kids, but our teenagers and adults loved it. It is full of lots interesting information, deals, as you would expect, mostly with branches of the military. Just be aware that this guided tour is all walking and they keep you moving along, so there is no time or place for sitting down....
If you can secure a tour reservation, then you should definitely go. Once you enter the Pentagon you soon realize how big it is. The tour is well narrated and is all walking. i think you walk about 1.5 miles in total.
