One of Atlanta's few Malaysian restaurants, Penang has been applauded by distinguished critics like The New York Times. The intimate dining room never gets very loud, and it provides the perfect atmosphere for a date. Many dishes are strictly vegetarian, but the menu offers a wide array of chicken and beef dishes, too. Try their signature noodle soups, Nasi Lemak or the roti canai. Many dishes...
Look up when you enter, and you'll see a goddess peering down from her perch on high as if to bless those gathered at this Chamblee restaurant. Penang’s extensive menu seems a challenge for the small kitchen, but chef/owner Ken Lim’s team consistently turns out quality food. Graze on appetizers of beef or chicken satay, or shrimp puff, for which minced shrimp is wrapped in bacon and fried. We...

Friendly place, good food, but vegetarian difficult. We really enjoy this place. The owner and staff are all very nice. Service is moderate pace, and the food is very good. The Nasi Lemak is very tasty. We as a couple have since gone vegetaraian, and I wish there was more than a few vegetarian selections.

But it also had a slight sprinkling of ground peanuts and...
My favorite is Curry Mee soup. I like the rice too. But I' addicted to that soup and when I go there I always get the same. I should try other options.
