2nd time here while traveling to and from the race at Talladega. Our first visit there and went based on trip advisor review. I won't go into every detail but the worst was my food came first and somehow they messed up the gravy for my husbands food.By the time his food arrived I was done., 45 minutes from when we sat down he finally got his food. Visited the Peerless for lunch with my son. Had not been here in awhile, especially for lunch, so forgot what the menu was. The place has two separate entrances, but can be accessed to either from the inside. There is a cafe side and a bar side. The cafe side was completely full, so they seated us on the bar...

Great atmosphere, good food

Nice, quaint downtown kind of a bar/restaurant with good food and friendly staff and customers. It is the kind of place to go to with friends to enjoy the environment and food.

Huge menu - great food

For lunch I had a cup of Chili (had ground buffalo meat) a bit spicy but the taste was excellent. Others in my group had blackened fish and Reuben sandwich with homemade potato chips.
Service was really good, the food excellent and I will be back next time I am in town.
