We weren't especially excited about Dr. Barrera when he was recommended to us, but he was the only doctor we didn't hear shockingly terrible things about who takes Medicaid. (And, because UT offers no domestic partnership benefits, my daughter wasn't eligible for my insurance and had to be seen by a Medicaid doctor).
