I am from the Bay Area and have moved back here, but I lived in Kansas City for a year for school, and I have been craving this place! I love soul food, and everything I had here was excellent. Definitely come in with a big appetite, since it is buffet style, however even though it was buffet, everything was quality. When I visit KC again, I will definitely be making a trip out here!

Fried chicken was good. Sweet tea was excellent. Collard greens were salty to the point of being inedible. No cobbler. No okra. No catfish. At noon? On a Sunday? Also, I had to dig for clean plates on the buffet line. Overall, the service was really good and the food was rotated often and always hot.
