Dr Barrus is a good family doctor. A bit forgetful from visit to visit, you might have to remind him of your history, but otherwise he seems to know his stuff. Now regarding the office staff, Joyce (Dr. Barrus assistant) is simply rude, unprofessional and not at all willing to help you out. She picks up the phone sporadically, frequently hangs up on calling patient and often seems to be on a...

Dr. Barrus is WONDERFUL. I'm 55 years old and have been to many doctors in my lifetime. About 10 years ago, I had a horrible case of flu. My Primary Care Physician (an M.D. in Krum) gave me antibiotics and cough medicine and sent me home. I ended up in the hospital a week later and almost died!
