My son's first day was his last day!!

My child's first day was his last day!!!! From the moment I walked in, there was no organization...they didn't even know to expect him for his first day, even though I had been speaking to the director and other staff for the previous 2 weeks & met them in person to pre-pay, etc. Upon picking him up after work, I walked in to find my 4 month old napping on his stomach (he can't yet rollover by himself so he was purposely placed that way)! Have they not heard of the risk of SIDS &/or suffocation?!!! I then received several insults from the staff regarding him not napping on schedule (infants don't yet have an established nap routine) and that he still gets nursed & doesn't take the bottle well, etc. Mind you that he had no problems at previous daycares/when babysat eating from a bottle! Also, according to his daily report, they had not fed my son since 12:20pm that day and I picked him up at 5:15pm...that's 5 hours with no food when they were instructed (via handwritten note from me) to feed him every 3 hours! I have proof that he was only fed twice all day because when I got there, they had a full bottle prepared that I took home that he hadn't even sipped on and still had another frozen breastmilk. I gave them 4 individually packaged milks for a reason!!! Also, they only changed/checked his diaper every 4 hours. I gave them a brand new package of diapers and only 2 were missing! I don't know about your infant, but mine potties in his diaper very frequently and hates a dirty diaper on his bottom!! I was never given access to their webcam system all day so I don't know what took place hands on, but I am not sure I want to see just how long they left him there crying, etc!! I would probably be livid, even more so than I already am! I am not one to go out of my way to ruin someone's reputation or overinflate a situation, but this called for action as a first time, concerned mom! Take caution when using or thinking about this daycare, I'd hate for you to leave your most prized possession in the hands of uncaring, unloving and & irresponsible staff at this daycare!!!
