This doctor put me on meds that made my hair fall out and when told about it he said bald is beautiful. He also pushed for me to have ECT treatments. When I finally said I would have the treatments I asked where I go to have them done and he told me to go to the front desk and ask for a list of doctors who do the treatment. I said don't you have a doctor you can refer me to for that or a doctor...

He overcharges for appointments and charges for services not rendered. I lost my short term disability and all health insurance because he didn't update my insurance company with the progress of my condition when it was requested. His office also overcharged me on my copays when I had insurance. I believe this doctor is paying to have my posts taken down cause he doesn't want anyone to know how...

Dr. Mandelbaum was great. He was caring, receptive, and helped get me on the right medication.

Having experienced dr. Mandelbaum on several occasions I have found that he does not actually listen to what I say. I feel that there is some kind of filter he strains everything through to assign a diagnosis and is then done with you. There is no further listening or interaction after that. I have discontinued seeing him although my condition remains.
