I highly recommend Dr. MacFarlane. He spent 30+ minutes with my husband and I during my first visit to explain my unique medical situation. My first visit was great. I left feeling confident and with a plan. Weight was not even mentioned in my first visit. Basically I was told I was fat and needed to lose 40 pounds during my second visit. I was also told they would get preauthorization for the CT. Not done. I saw Dr MacFarlane for a hiatal hernia. Don't recommend him at all if you suffer from depression or are fat. He knew I was fat at the very first visit and yet he ordered a CT anyway and had me return for a second visit a week later for the results. The results were to tell me what we both already knew. One star is really too much. This doctor did a surgery on me and screwed it up bad. He performed the surgery and then left that day to go on vacation. I was released to early from the hospital and ended up having to back through er to get re-admitted.
