Terrible doctor! He operated and completely botched up a relatively easy hernia surgery causing a lifetime of pain. I waited until six months after my surgery to write this review just to make sure it was as successful as I thought. I had a double inguinal hernia repair with mesh done by Dr Toyama and am still in a little bit of awe about how smoothly everything went. Never had to take a pain pill, had very little discomfort even the night of the surgery and was back to full activities six weeks out. Also...

What more can I say about this wonderful doctor. She gave me back my life. I came to interview with her in Dec. of 2015 after receiving my diagnosis elsewhere and just knew from that day she was going to be my doctor for my journey. By Apr. of 2016 I finished with chemo. Extremely responsive when I was referred for emergency gall bladder surgery, he was patient,& was an advocate for me with floor nurses and has helpful staff.
