Gratch performed an L4/L5 surgery on me a few years ago at Abington hosp. 3 weeks later the pain RETURNED. Made another appt w him after having a new MRI. Had the info sent to him 2 weeks before my follow-up. He came in and asked my symptoms (this is after his first surgery on me). He calmly sat down and told me verbatim its just a matter of bad luck!. My husband had L4/L5 spine surgery with Dr. Gratch. All we ever heard from him was that the procedure would take 1/2 hour and he would go home. Four days later he left the hospital with a knicked spinal sheath, a drop foot and severe neuropathy that he has dealt with ever since. Dr. Gratch similarly screwed up a Pediatrist that lives in our neighborhood. Avoid this Dr. at all costs

I can not recommend this doctor. Get a second opinion if any surgery is recommended. She will get very defensive if you ask a question.

Staff was helpful and friendly. They explained the testing and surgery process fully. Dr. Walker was great at the office and surgery center. Surgery went well on first eye and I'm heading back for the second.
