We had not been to Pastiche in a while. We were welcomed and seated promptly and the hostess was very nice. The server on the other hand, was not so pleasant. He was very aggressive pushing the drinks, saying odd things about saving a dollar by substituting the tequila in the margarita and whatnot. It was very unpleasant and off putting.
