Understated elegance and refined service are much in evidence at this soothing city getaway, where the earth-tone guest rooms are a minimalist tribute to the American experience and feature walnut floors, hard-covered books, and folk art accent pieces. The luxurious spa-inspired stone bathrooms have rain showers, marble tubs, and come stocked with a line of luxury bath products special to this...

Don’t let the name confuse you. With a twee tea cellar and a crsip temple atmosphere, this park has more zen than a Japanese monastery. A 2006 makeover courtesy of Tony Chi (to the tune of $24 million) has made the previously stuffy Park Hyatt Washington the comeback kid of the city. Clean lines, blond wood and a muted palette serve to highlight folk-art pieces and indulgent amenities such as...

Experience great except for the super shuttle ride back to airport. Driver never came and I had to pay for a taxi and nearly missed my flight. Super shuttle was no help, rude on the phone, keep hanging up on me or telling me that they couldn't hear me mid conversation. Completely unprofessional company.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of nights at this property recently.
Service-very good
Rooms-excellent
Location-excellent
The only negative (very minor) was the lighting controls were weird. There's a touch screen to control the lights and the bedside options were "all on" or "all off". Not ideal.
Bathroom is to die for.

I don't want to be bias, but my wife and I prefer the boutique classic hotels. If you like a modern theme, this is a good choice. Overall service was great. the Biggest drawback was a really hard bed, which didn't make for a great nights sleep. Dissapointing considering the overall Hyatt quality, and quality of this facility.
