Another Springfield tradition! If you haven't been here, and ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich and PBR. Then you seriously don't know what you're missing.

Back in town and had to stop in since my dad took me all the time as a kid. Owners have changed but the place hasn't. The BBQ is still great, and the regulars are the best. I missed Hacker Day (it was last Monday), but there were still a couple of tables of people hanging out and having a beer.

What a gem in north springfield. I had heard I needed to try this local bbq place, and I finally did last week. I had the pulled pork meal with 2 sides. BBQ beans and onion rings. It was delicious. This place is tiny but powerful. Friendly staff, great food and cold beer. And, they have live music! One of Springfield's jewels tucked into an old neighborhood.

Pappy's Place is a hidden gem in Springfield Mo. It's been serving quality food and cold beer for over 50 yrs. The BBQ is great, with my favorite being the huge pulled pork sandwich and the sweet mustardy 'Liquid Gold' sauce. Specials are often offered which shouldn't be missed and the desserts are homemade and always fantastic! The carrot cake...
