Panhandler Pies Restaurant

Pies! Pies! Pies!. We found this place last October on the way to Spokane. We stopped on the way to Spokane and on the way back to Canada. Just this past week we did the same. Late night treat!. My wife and I stopped in for pie just before closing. What a good idea! A very friendly young lady was glad to serve us even though she was starting to clean up for closing. I had a delicious blueberry pie a la mode and my wife a piece of cherry. Both were great. Next time in town we're stopping in again.

This was a great place to eat at the end of a LONG day of traveling. All the food was wonderful and we left completely full, including dessert, plus a box of left overs for $30. If you like carbs, the warm scones and cornbread are a must!
Unfortunately, the atmosphere is not as fun as other places in downtown...

We found this place while visiting Sandpoint and was very pleased with the restaurant. The servings were very generous and reasonably priced. We recommend panhandler omlet and hamburger. Don't forget to get a slice of pie.

Excellent food, fantastic pies for a great price!! Their daily specials are the best value for your buck. We were there on a Thursday and the special was ribs, it was delicious, and we had corn bread, soup, ribs, rice and a choice of any pie. It was lots of food and very delicious!!
