Very poor experience: the gentleman attempted to sell me a used, beat up guitar for $100 more than it's worth new. I would take anything the gentleman, who I believe is the sole proprietor, says with a grain of salt.

The person who previously rated this Guitar shop sounds like a middle aged yuppie with a stick up his ass.
This is by far the best guitar shop in San Francisco. They have the best stuff the best prices and a cool atmosphere. As far as being "a hole in the wall". About 90% of shops and stores in San francisco could be viewed at in the same way.

Very nice guys. Honest as all get out! Not the lowest prices in town, but well worth the look over. Great selection and they knew about a problem I had even before I started to describe it. Much better than I expected for a "hole-in-the-wall" kind of an operation. Off the beaten path. Go find them and take the time to go there. Phone calls just don't do the trick!!
