French Cuisine, French Bread, Croissants, Pastries, Artisan Bread, Espresso, Coffee, Wholesale Bakery
Our French Cafe When we opened our wholesale Artisan bakery in 1992, we also had the idea to create a neighborhood Boulangerie, ( a French bakery ) where anyone can walk in and buy a crusty loaf of fresh bread, croissant or patisserie, ( pastry ) and enjoy a perfect espresso, every day. Today, our Cafe Boulangerie is open 7 days a week, offering European style breakfasts and gourmet lunches. In...
What began in 1992 as a commercial bakery practicing old-world techniques quickly grew into the source for one of the Cape's favorite artisan foods. Restaurants and hotels across the region suddenly switched to the addictive French loaves and rolls and never looked back. Eventually, the bakery grew from a tiny, self-serve bread bar to a sophisticated café with a wine bar. Still-warm pastries...
I live close to Hyannis, and my husband and I frequent this bistro often. We take out-of-town guests there, and the food is excellent. The breads are very high quality, and their desserts are nothing short of fabulous. Attached to a upscale bread baking firm is a gourmet restaurant. Fabulous dinners and Croque Monsiure for breakfast . Top shelf !
just the blueberry pastry, coffee, and "Monkey Bread" gets me salivating. I haven't delved into dinner here, but will someday do that for sure. Breakfast was a treat. So great to have this awesome boulangerie that reminds me of France, right on the Cape.
We had two sandwiches, one was turkey, the other chicken curry. It tasted and felt like you were in Europe! They have several European beers on draught, as well as American specialty brews. The wines are fantastic. Who ever picked out the wines must be an expert. Fast , friendly service too! Highly recommend!

In 1992, thrown together on Cape Cod by political circumstances none of them could have predicted, four young Yugoslavs founded Pain D'Avignon.Their goal was to recreate the Old World Traditions using baking techniques and recipes barely changed in centuries. Their founding principle: fine breads deserve to be at the center of the dining experience, not a mere afterthought. At their Hyannis...
