The vaguely industrial-chic overtones of this West Marin star's otherwise rustic-contemporary decor hint at the panache that enlivens chef-owner Christian Caiazzo's "Point Reyes Italian" cuisine. The emphasis on locally sourced ingredients makes for ingenious combinations—oysters harvested a just a few miles away, for instance, anchor a pizza with leeks braised in cream from Marin and Sonoma...

Osteria Stellina Restaurant Review

Osteria Stellina is an oasis of thoughtful contemporary dining. The seasonally changing menu emphasizes organic, local ingredients dished up in rustic, earthy Italian cuisine as nutritious as it is carefully prepared. Chef-owner Christian Caiazzo has built such a strong following for his restaurant (named for his daughter) that he’s single-handedly made this West Marin County town a dining...

Great service, great food

Probably the best restaurant choice for dinner in Point Reyes Station. Ambiance is ok, but it tends to be noisy and the tables are tightly spaced.
A very good variety of food choices on the menu made from excellent local produce.
For starters I had the poached gulf shrimp - it was very good and perfectly done. Then I had...

Stopped here on day trip to Pt. Reyes based on recommendation from friend. Food was excellent, especially chicken salad and mushroom pizza. A bit pricey for lunch.

We came here after a disappointing start at sea salt. The entire staff was wonderful. Tara was our server. Her timing and suggestions were right on. The oysters were fresh and cold, my Strozzapreti with water buffalo veal Ragu was outstanding and generous. My friend had the swordfish with broccolini, garbanzo and tomatoes that was fabulous. The room had wonderful...

Bread is fresh from the local bakery...mussels for an appetizer with salmon and rack of lamb for entrees, and a strawberry shortcake to wrap it up...very tasty!...if you come after 6 on a Saturday, make reservations

When in town we normally go to Pt Reys Station for dinner, but they were closed on Monday and we ended up here. And we were so glad. the food was delicious, the restaurant comfortable and there was live music to boot! I had the swordfish which was well cooked and seasoned. My spouse had pasta and enjoyed it thoroughly....

Nestled in the heart of Point Reyes Station, Stellina is a typical osteria (casual Itealian eatery). The menu offers a delectable array of Italian fare. The kitchen has a firm focus on locally sourced organic ingredients. Begin your meal with the cheese plate featuring a daily changing selection of artisan cheeses. There's a diverse choice pasta and pizzas, with their wonderful house sauces and...
