Orinoco is a 2008 addition to the Brookline Village restaurant scene. Nestled between Matt Murphy’s pub and Pomodoro, the menu is well thought out, offering a number of enticing specialties. The portions are small but epicurean. Try the Palmito, a salad with endives, heart-of-palm, and the show-stopping almond-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates. Even "demanding customers" think "waiting forever" to get into these "no-reservations" "gems" "doesn't matter", since the Venezuelan eats, including "fantastic", "smokey" arepas, are so "wonderful"; included in the "reasonable" rates are "smiles" from "gracious" staffers and a "cozy, Latin-accented" space with a "casual", "homey" vibe.
