Oodles in Market Square is simply amazing. I did get my food for take out, so not sure about the atmosphere, but if it's half as good as the food, it's a winner. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and I've been dying to go back!!!
While I think the crayfish dip was excellent, there was no bread offered for the meal. They say they make their own pasta, but the lemon pepper chicken with capers was on elbow macaroni and the chicken was suspiciously like the prefrozen I find at Costco.
Hostess was very rude. Asked for a table outside even though it was lightly raining because of outside concert. Hostess would not let us have a table with an umbrella because we were ordering drinks and not food. Did not give us an opportunity to even order food. Got very ugly with us saying they were reserving tables with umbrellas...

My wife and I really enjoy the food and excellent wine selections. It can be pricey, but we keep going back because we feel it's worth a little extra fro something special. They also have a reasonably priced menu that is quite good too. Grab a dinner, go see a movie, come back for desert and coffee.
