A favorite with visitors and Kauai residents alike, Ono Family Restaurant is a casual coffee shop with a local-style menu. The décor is country-kitchen with a few antiques. Lunch menu items include chicken, fish, and a host of sandwiches and hamburgers. The breakfast offerings are a highlight, including the omelets. Service is friendly, and the place is usually crowded on weekend mornings.

There is usually a wait to get in but I lucked out and got right in. Big menu but opted for the special, the asparagus omelet. It was delicious! It had cheese and on the side was a tasty hollandaise sauce. They also had a really yummy jam for my toast. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

I had the loco moco and it was KILLER once again I over ate I'm sure glad we stopped at this place a reality office down the street gave us the tip the food sure was good
