One Flew South Restaurant Review

It's easy to miss this contemporary dining nook at one of the world's busiest airports. You'll find a welcoming sushi bar and comfortable table seating within, and there’s a "patio" designed to suggest one of the South's favorite restaurant features: outdoor dining. Jared Hall, previously sous chef, has replaced former chef Duane Nutter. At One Flew South since 2008, Hall may leave the menu...

Scope Which Atlanta Restaurants Are Buzzing Nationally

Another day, another publication throwing praise at Atlanta's dining scene. Southern Living's Jennifer V. Cole hit the road to determine the 10 best new restaurants in the South, and Kimball House tops the list. But the Decatur favorite isn't the only local restaurant honored. Athens's Cinco y Diez comes in at No. 9, and among Cole's overall list of favorites are Bacchanalia, Empire State...

Boozin' Go-To Guide: Paige Lane Edition

As part of the Ford Fry empire, Paige Lane crafts cocktails that represent Buckhead hotspot King + Duke perfectly with literature-inspired whimsy and seasonal ingredients. It's a natural fit for Lane, who has a background in art from GSU. She was lured away by the industry in 2010 by none other than Holeman & Finch. Greg Best anointed her with the pirate nickname "Spitfire," and as anyone who...

Best Airport Meal Hands Down

We were in Atlanta for a layover and looked for the best restaurant we could find. We did. It was so good, on the layover back we ate there again and brought a group with us. Everyone loved it. Great sushi, the snapper with urchin was spectacular and the pork belly sliders...

Was flying out international and was remarkably surprised by the quality and service of food at this airport stop. Good wine selection as well. Reasonable wait for airport service.

Your best option at the Atlanta airport

Meals are very good, and important for travelers, they are very fast. This is your best option for better dining and drinking at Hartsfield.

Sushi not as good

Been to one flew south many times. I think the sushi/ngiri is not as good as it once was. Portions have definitely been cut back, taste/freshness not as good. I will probably stick to the normal menu next time.

It is pretty good sushi for an airport restaurant. Food is getting better at ATL so this place less worth a terminal hike. But best thing about this place is the wine selection.
