Creative crepes in sweet, savory and breakfast preparations with local ingredients and organic eggs and served with a proprietary blend of Dark Matter coffee are the draw at this family-owned Elmhurst eatery; located down an alley, it’s minimally decked out with bare tables and white walls decorated intermittently with artwork.
Their crepes are to die for. The place is not the easiest to find, but it is well worth seeking out. Would definitely recommend, as I will be going back again very soon.
Life changing gluten free crepe. I'm not kidding. Life changing.
This place gets it! I had a plain crepe..with double homemade slaw..omg! My husband had the Kickin' Chicken..tasty! And The Campfire crepe..wow..a great crepe to share. The Sumatra Brazilian coffee was awesome..reminded me of coffee I had in Napa. Well worth the 20 minute drive. I would gladly come every week on my day off. Great music, cool vibe, plant derived straws, no...
I had never had crepes and had always assumed they were only sweet. Not being into sweets, I never thought much about them. Then my friend brought me to Nu Crepes for a birthday lunch and WOW!!! I'm converted. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. Now I've just figured out that there is soup..... oh boy...
Very good place for crepes. The Kickin Chicken' crepe (with hash browns added) was awesome. The same goes with the strawberry cheesecake crepe for dessert as well. Will come back again.
Crepes it's what we do
