what a great place. we went with my son-in-law who is a member for a family Christmas dinner. drinks in the bar downstairs which was wonderfully decorated for Christmas and with artwork that I'm told changes frequently. the specialty cocktails were superb. dinner upstairs was equally wonderful. our waiter was very engaging as was all the staff including the manager...
Gorgeous private club located in a 14th street townhouse. Unpretentious but exclusive. Caters to the arts community. Food and drinks are excellent..
The back garden is a great escape in good weather.
We all met at Norwood club a Writer( who was once a litigation lawyer) Publisher,Musician and a Visual Artist(me),
although this club is membership only with invitational option for a guest it was really a great place. A very sophisticated, relaxing and enlightening environment with great service. I would love to visit again in the future.
They're adamantly against picture taking, so refrain from whipping out the digital cam, unless you plan to pack your things and leave shortly thereafter.
As the club is strictly for members' use only, plan to show up only when invited.
If you choose to order some food in one of the lounge areas, try the macaroni and cheese fries--a truly original snack.
