My grandfather took me here when I was eleven years old for a week of camping and swimming in Lake Sacandaga. Sacandaga is much more secluded than Lake George. You can easily go boating, swimming or fishing. The surrounding towns are tiny and you'll usually find yourself grabbing supplies at a general store.
