Finally, we decided upon a diner, Nookies, around the corner. When we sat down, we ordered mimosas and were informed that the diner doesn’t serve mimosas. Our faces sunk.

Decent breakfast spot but I’ve heard horrendous reviews about the meet in the burgers. The breakfast basics are all pretty solid. Atmosphere is a bit stark and can get really noisy when crowded.
Went on a monday morning (9:30 am) and there wasn't a wait. The specials all sounded good. A friend tried the peach pancakes w/raspberries and said they were awesome. The french toast came covered in berries (fresh, not frozen), and the hangover helper was quite tasty (even w/o being hungover).
We ate at Nookies this morning and arrived to find no wait (super refreshing) and a lovely staff. Everyone's food was delicious ... Wild recommend the Smokehouse Fritatta. Good coffee, fresh squeezed oj and the most reasonable prices on our trip. Highly recommend.
