I travelled with my son's school band and choir, over 150 people and the service we all received felt like we were individual travelers. My first experience here left a lot to be desired. The paint on the ceiling was peeling, the desk was broken and the convoluted path from the parking garage to the lobby is crazy. The staff and employees, by the way, were great.

Toya and Randy in the dining room and all the folks at the City Center Marriott in Newport News are fantastic. All are friendly, helpful, and focused on excellent service. This was my second visit to the hotel and the area has really improved. There were more restaurants to choose from. Even though it was a rainy day, the area was beautiful. The hotel was excellent, the staff, the hotel restaurant were excellent. I would recommend to anyone that will be in the area. There was a lot to do...

Trip to see my Kids and Grandkids

Every member of the staff with whom I had any contact (restaurant, bar and housekeeping) were great, especially Wayne Clark (sp?), the Bellman.
I enjoyed my stay and so did my kids and Grandkids!
The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The food was very good and the variety seemed to satisfy all members of the Family.
