This go-to gym's red-and-white logo is widespread across all boroughs.

I was thinking of visiting this gym and potentially joining, but decided against it based solely on the reviews and photos. Granted this blog ( is nearly a year old since last it was updated, but it really is sad what poor condition the gym is in. Even if NYSC has cleaned up its act, the array of current 1-star reviews say it all.

Awful. The equipment was usually broke it in the club was absolutely filthy. Try telling that to the managers though, not that they care. They turn over every couple of months so you have to explain the problem to someone else who can do nothing because corporate handles it. Probably the most disgusting gym I've seen for the money.

Manager was extremely rude, very non professional. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality gym. Also the equipment is horrible plus it is very closed in, it makes you feel like you are on top of each other. Overall, this gym deserves an f in hospitality, equipment, and also cleanliness. WOULD NOT GO HERE!

Even though he's not here often, the gym is really not the same without him. I like that they put in some new cardio equipment. And the gym is pretty good for strength training/muscle building too.

This place always has broken equipment and is dirty. Their layout is annoying as well. But this worst part is their customer service:I called a few months ago and asked to freeze my account. They...
