wonderful facility - genuine staff

I spent months researching and touring nursing home facilities in southern California, to care for my father. The stench in most didn’t permit my going any further than the entry areas. Other homes were clearly run down and the people working in them didn’t seem to want to be there. When my sister and I saw New Vista we new immediately it was the home we wanted our dad to be. It was well kept, extremely clean, didn’t have the disgusting smell most nursing homes have but rather smelt clean, and everyone who was working in the home was pleasant. inattentive & neglectful

my mother was transferred to this facility with a history of dementia and ""wandering"". Even though they put a Wander-Guard on her wrist, she was able to get out of the facility without any of the nursing staff knowing. No one noticed she was gone until my brother tried to visit her the same morning and could not find her. Only by the grace of God did he find her on the corner of Sunland and Foothill

My brother Simon is presently a patient in your facility.

After all departments assessed him, a care plan conference call was set up for me to receive an update on his condition/prognosis.

It's most unusual to have this sort of service, and I must say that I was very pleased to receive the call, get all my questions answered and have your team tell me all I needed to know, including their commitment to follow up on items still to be resolved.

Please let everyone know how much I appreciate their efforts, and how satisfying it is to find people who are still willing to go the extra...
