Editorial reviews from the web (3)

With its ramshackle, boxy exterior, Chinatown's King Fung Garden doesn't look like a restaurant. And the Formica tables and Naugahyde trim inside don't help. But once you sit down and start eating, everything else becomes moot. Regulars… Read More

King Fung Garden Restaurant Review

The exterior of King Fung Garden barely even resembles a restaurant, and a step inside, which reveals Formica tables and Naugahyde trim, will take you back in time. But the food will transport you to today, with offerings from Szechuan lamb soup to filets of sole with vegetables. Regulars phone a day in advance to order the first-rate Peking duck, served in three separate courses. Even basic...

Don't let the shabby exterior fool you: This hole in the wall is Chinatown's best kept and most delicious secret.

The Scene
Little wonder many of Boston's celebrity chefs dine here on their nights off. The place doesn't look like much, but the food is transcendent.

Tiny spot, but delicious & cheap. Great for takeout!

Seriously, get the scallion pancake.

King Fung is closed (new owners)!! Noooooooo.

Really fast service. Eggplant with Deep Fried Tofu is fantastic.

Best hot and sour soup I've ever had.

Since 1987, King Fung Gardens has been providing Retail - Chinese Restaurant from Malden. King Fung Gardens has estimated annual revenues of $120,000.00 and also employs an estimated 3 employees.

King Fung Garden can be found at Kneeland St 74. The following is offered: Restaurants: Southeast Asian. The entry is present with us since Sep 8, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 14, 2013. In Boston there are 11 other Restaurants: Southeast Asian . An overview can be found here.

King Fung may be dumpy, but don't judge a fluorescent-lit ex-pizza parlor by its cover. The food at this tiny Chinese eatery is good, cheap, and adventurous. Unusual house specialties include a coal-fired Mongolian fire pot (broth fondue) and a multi-course Peking duck feast (order 24 hours in advance).

This is unquestionably the absolute best chinese food in Boston. Event he most mundane ('Shanghai Chow Mein') dish to the Hon Sue Beef (would love a recipe, eh?) is a treat.

This is the best kept secret in Boston. The dining area itself is small and leaves much to be desired, but the food is perhaps the best Chinese I have ever tasted. The noodles are homemade and all the...

King Fung Garden is located in the heart of Chinatown. It specializes in authentic Chinese cuisine and provides take-out service.
