I think New Hanover County has been grossly negligent regarding the flooding on Edgewater Club Road. It has been that way for MANY years and has been completely ignored. It took a UNCW scientist to take the initiative to test the water and make the info available to the public. I think all the residents should sue the county.

Over the past 2 months I have got the run around and around and around all the way to State Government and back to NHC for an answer on an important legal issue. NO ONE at the county level can answer my question and 3/4 of the people in 4 different offices did not even know what I was talking about.....then there is the issue about the system, recently I went before an arbitrator for a minor...

Wrightsville Beach
No pets are allowed on the beach strand from April 1 through September 30.

Carolina Beach
Dogs are allowed on the beach town limits from November 1st to February 28th but allowed on Freeman Park Beach all year. Dogs are required to be on a leash from April 1st to September 30. From October 1st to March 31, dogs are allowed off a leash so long as they remain under voice...
