Paul Karabinis has been in the diner business for over thirty years. He came to Oneonta, New York, and opened up the first Neptune Diner in 1986. Originally it was a 2,000 square foot diner. The old diner was removed in the Spring of 2000 and he erected a completely new modern expanded diner which opened on May 25, 2000. It has 6700 square feet of dining area and a seating capacity of 290 people.

They offer senior specials, which is a nice option... but we were hungry and ordered from the regular menu.

We eat at the Neptune at least once a week, usually after shopping at the local stores. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner are all very good. There menu is small but filled with favorites. Local Dinner with a small salad bar

My husband and I went here on a Sunday night for dinner. We went there because we heard it had a salad bar. We it was a very small salad bar. It had normal Dinner fare, nothing memorable. I felt is was a little expensive for what we got. Won't be going back.

Was happy to find a place open at 10 pm...had the place to ourselves...great food!! Had delicious mozz. Sticks, calamari, and fried ravioli!!! Boyfriend and I both ordered burgers..yum! Great service! The dessert case looked so yummy but I was too full! Would definitely go back!
