I went to Dr Julie as I needed a 2nd opinion for symptoms that would not go away. He listened to me, examined me and figured out the problem. He knows his stuff and would highly recommend him. He is my new GI!

A friend recommended that I see Dr. Julie for a second opinion related to GI issues I've been having. The doctor came in to look over my and then informed me that he had to leave to go to the hospital to do a procedure but the nurse practitioner would be in to finish my appointment.I wasn't told that this would be the case until I was in the exam room.Not a good first impression and I won't be...

I originally had another gastroenterologist that was closer to my office. I got very sick while on vacation and was hospitalized for 5 days. I needed a doctor closer to my home and found Dr. Julie through my insurance list. The first thing that he did was took me off of a medication that was not intended for long-term use and I had already been taking it for over 2 years!

Back in 2010 I was experiencing difficulty in swallowing. Dr Julie did 2 endoscopic procedures about 6 mos. apart which opened the esophagus. Unfortunately I have esophageal narrowing in 3 different areas, throat, mid, and stomach juncture. I was able to maintain normal swallowing for about 3 1/2 years before noticing any issues.
