Amid the Theater District "madness" lies this Japanese "sleeper" that "exceeds expectations" with its "delectable sushi", "helpful" service and "reasonable" rates; other endearments include a "sleek" room "not filled to the brim with tourists" and a "tolerable noise level."

Restaurant is pretty cramped. Went there for Valentine's Day so they were offering a special menu. $45 got us each an appetizer, entree, and dessert plus a complimentary glass of champagne which was nice. The dumplings were very good and fresh but that was about where it turned downhill. I ordered the omakase which only came with 6 pieces of sushi and a spicy tuna roll. Very disappointing...

Came here on Valentine's day before a show. They had a Valentine's prix fixe special of 3 courses. I had the dumpling sampler, the wolf hull roll, and lychee sorbet. It came with a glass of champagne. The food was all delicious. The dumplings were all steamed and had fresh flavor.
