Location is the only positive thing to say. Once upon a time, this restaurant was good, but for the past several years since it changed hands, it has not been the same.
Freedom has good food but when we were there the waitress was very slow and the cook was even slower. Drinks are expensive
The location is very nice if you want lake views while you are dining. There is an outside deck where food is served. The bar has a good selection of beers and the menu is varied.
Naples Maine apparently closes down after Labor Day, so we had lunch at this cafe because it was the only place still open. Our desperate choice turned out to be a good meal. Good, shaggy sandwiches, great sweet potato fries and a gorgeous view off the deck over the lake. We'd go again even if we had a choice!
Unfortunately, this restaurant is prettier than it is good. The greeter who showed us to our table apparently didn't want to be at work this day but our waitress was quite friendly and accommodating. The food was average but we had to wait 55 minutes for a lettuce/tomato salad and sandwich. You would wonder why we would wait this long...
