Help us make it rightWhile waiting for my wife to finish shopping i stopped in to see what might be new. they greeted me promply but left me to wander which was just what i wanted.
while i was there i ended up getting my knife sharpened which i swear is better then when it was new. i over heard the gentlemen say that things have been much better with all new managment. compared to the last time i was there i would have to agree.
great service and great products, i will be back soon.
We took some kitchen knives in to be sharpened. Well, their grinder broke. I suppose that happens, so we were told the knives would be hand sharpened (this was on a Saturday.) We returned on the following Tuesday and admidst the rumblings of who should have done what, and so-and-so will get fired, we found out that our knives were forgotten. So, at no charge to us, the knives were going to be ""taken care of"" that day. We were unable to return until Saturday afternoon (4 days later), and guess what??? No one had sharpened the knives!! They tried to hap-hazzardly get it done on the...
I was up in Colorado Springs for spring break with some buddy's and went to the mall. We stopped in to check out some knives and i showed the lady working there my knife and she sharpened it for free. If i had the extra money i would have bought myself a new knife there on the spot.
Pros
+ Great customer service, good prices
Needing immediate assistance we called to have a few scissors sharpened. It took a few hours, no prob. It snowed so much we came the next day to pick them up and they were closed, for 3 hours past their opening time. We were told it was for free. Once we got them home,it was discovered they were torn up pretty badly. We paid a known sharpenor to fix them and they were too destroyed.
Pros
+ they got us in right away
Cons
- my 4 pairs of shears were ruined
I recently purchased a knife from the store and had to return it and the greed mongers would not let me return it, all because i didn't have the cardboard box they put it in to carry it out of the store.I did have the receit and the price tag was still on the blade and it was never used.the box was not the original package either, plus they had lots of these boxes on hand and in no way would it effect its resaleable value.they are a money oriented bussiness, not customer oriented.their lucky i don't feel like going to prison, cause i was ready to deal with them.
Cons
- they are a con
